What are we going to do?

We have an exciting outing planned especially for our teenage members. On Saturday, April 12, we’re heading up high. At Fun Forest in Rotterdam, you’ll experience the ultimate adrenaline rush as you climb high among the trees. Push your limits by going one step further on each new course. There are a total of 7 courses that you, as a teenager, can participate in without needing an adult to accompany you. If you’d still prefer to have a parent with you while climbing, please let us know when you register.

While the kids are climbing, parents can chat with each other over a cup of coffee or tea. Or they can cheer on the kids by walking alongside the course.

Of course, we’ve also thought of any younger brothers and sisters who come along. If they’re up for it, they’re welcome to climb in the climbing forest, too. There are different courses for different age groups. However, the cost for this is at your own expense.

Program

You’re welcome to come to Fun Forest starting at 11:30 a.m. for an introductory session. At 12:00 p.m., we’ll enjoy some delicious poffertjes together, and at 1:00 p.m., the introduction will begin, followed by climbing.

Doors open at 11:30 a.m.
Light snack: 12:00 p.m.
Introduction and climbing begin: 1:00 p.m.
Event concludes with drinks and chips: 4:00 p.m.

Location

Fun Forest Rotterdam. The climbing forest is located at Langepad 71. Parking in the Kralingse Bos is partially free. At the very entrance to the forest, parking is paid, but at the intersection of Pr. Beatrixlaan and IJsvogelpad, you can park for free near a large “Fun Forest” sign along the road. Be prepared for crowds and expect a walk of at least 5 minutes from your car. Two electric charging stations are located in the parking lot on Langepad, near the main entrance to the forest (paid parking).
