Your Health Insurance in 2025
The health insurance premiums and policies have been announced for some time now. That’s why it’s high time to check whether your health insurance still fits your current situation.
You have until January to decide whether or not to switch health insurance plans or insurers. You can cancel your current policy until January 1, and you can switch to another insurer until February 1. There are no fewer than 86 basic policies listed on zorgverzekeringkaart.nl. Without a comparison tool, the differences are almost impossible to understand.
The list of supplemental insurance plans that will cover membership in the OOG in OOG Association in 2025 is now available on the Dutch Patients’ Federation website .
Reimbursement for glass ocular prostheses
Ocularist Benjamin Flettner has informed us that, as of January 2025, he has signed contracts with VGZ and Menzis. In 2025, he plans to continue discussions with other health insurers.
Research
The Dutch Patient Federation is conducting a survey using a digital questionnaire to find out how people choose their health insurance for 2025 and what their experiences are with switching providers, non-contracted care, and so on.
