Invitation to a Dissertation Defense
Annabel Groot will defend her dissertation on Friday, January 10, from 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. at the Agnietenkapel in Amsterdam. The dissertation is titled: “Congenital microphthalmia and anophthalmia: biometrics and treatment using three-dimensional techniques.”

It is a dissertation comprising nine scientific articles. Several children with microphthalmia or anophthalmia from the OOG in OOG Association, along with their parents, contributed to these studies by coming to the hospital each time and undergoing all the measurements and ultrasounds. Annabel: “I can’t thank these people enough for that. I would therefore like to cordially invite them to attend the defense of my dissertation.”
