For a nationwide fireworks safety campaign organized by the Ministry of Infrastructure and Water Management, we are looking for parents who are willing to share their stories. The goal: to warn other parents, raise awareness, and encourage them to talk to their children about fireworks safety and the importance of wearing protective eyewear.

We are looking for parents who:

  • Children aged 12 through 15
  • Have had a bad experience with fireworks involving their child(ren)
  • We want to encourage other parents to start a conversation about setting off fireworks safely
  • Be prepared to be interviewed by phone for 15–30 minutes
  • They may also want to share their story with the media (with guidance)

Would you like to help make New Year’s Eve safer for everyone? If so, please contact Luna Snels directly: l.snels@hvdm.nl

Do you have any questions or need more information? Luna would be happy to tell you more about the campaign and how to participate.
