Fifteen eyes were blinded, six of which had to be surgically removed. In four out of ten cases, the victims did not set off the fireworks themselves.  <\/p>\n<p>The OOG in OOG Association has been advocating for a ban on consumer fireworks in the Netherlands for many years. We now have allies among the police, medical specialists, and the fire department.
