The reason Hans joined our association was to learn more about living with one eye and to connect with others in the same situation. Hans: \u201cSix weeks after I was born in 1947, my right eye was removed, and I received a plastic prosthesis that became available shortly after World War II. As a child, you gradually learn to live with it. It wasn\u2019t until much later that I discovered everything that comes with seeing with only one eye.\u201d <\/p>\n
