If a participant isn\u2019t paying attention, I try to catch his or her eye, and that\u2019s usually enough to get that person actively participating again. The next time they lose focus, I \u201cpunish\u201d that participant in a friendly way with a difficult question. I enjoy playing this game\u2014and, if I do say so myself, I\u2019m good at it!   <\/p>\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Play a game<\/h2>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">My biggest concern was that, as a one-eyed person, I wouldn\u2019t be able to play this game anymore. But it\u2019s not as bad as I thought. I move around a lot more and look around even more carefully, which means I can still spot the less observant players. Maybe I\u2019m doing better now because I\u2019m much more conscious of it. While talking, I even often check to see if there are any one-eyed people among the participants.    <\/p>\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Chance<\/h2>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">During a lecture in a room filled with a large group of people\u2014mostly men\u2014I suddenly noticed that a striking number of men were winking at me. It made me a little shy. It seemed like I was \u201cgetting hit on.\u201d But after yet another wink, I suddenly realized what was going on, and I really had to try hard not to burst out laughing! My prosthetic eye can\u2019t blink; it\u2019s always open. My only real eye does blink, though. To the people in the room, it looks like I\u2019m winking, so they wink back!
