This festive and educational day has been organized especially for the children who are members of our association\u2014and, of course, their brothers, sisters, parents, and grandparents. Together, let\u2019s make it an unforgettable day! <\/p>\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">What are we going to do?<\/h2>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">We\u2019ve put together a varied program for both children and parents and grandparents. Young and old alike can enjoy fun activities, informative lectures, inspiring encounters, and, of course, Avifauna\u2019s beautiful bird park and playground. <\/p>\n<p><strong>Program:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>10:00 a.m. \u2013 Welcome Reception<\/strong><br \/>We\u2019ll welcome you with coffee, tea, lemonade, and a treat in the Struisvogelzaal (Parkrestaurant Avifauna).<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>10:45 a.m. \u2013 Welcome Remarks<\/strong> by<br \/>We\u2019ll kick off the day together in the Valkenzaal. Afterward, the children will set off on an adventure through the bird park with our volunteers. <\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>11:00 a.m. \u2013 Lecture<\/strong>: <strong>Everything About Eye Prostheses<\/strong><br \/>By Lo\u00efs Hobelman, optometrist and ocularist in training at Jelmer Remmers\u2019 practice.<br \/>Topic: Eye prostheses \u2013 including an opportunity to ask questions. (You may also submit questions in advance!) <\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>11:30 a.m. \u2013 Lecture: The Impact on the Family<\/strong><br \/>By Dr. Agnes Willemen and Linda Veerman of Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam. We\u2019d like to use these photos for our communications materials, such as our magazine, website, social media, and brochures. <\/p>\n<p><strong>Would you like to participate in the photo shoot?<\/strong><br \/>On the registration form below, you can indicate whether the child and the family would like to participate in the portrait photography session. Of course, you\u2019ll also receive the photos digitally via email afterward. <strong>Participation<\/strong> is, of course, <strong>entirely voluntary<\/strong>. If you\u2019d rather not be photographed or don\u2019t want your photos to be made available for publication, that\u2019s absolutely fine.
