So you don&#8217;t have to go anywhere. It&#8217;s an accessible way to meet other members and get information from professionals.  <\/p>\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">What are we going to do?<\/h2>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Do you have a son or daughter who sees with only one eye? Then this online meeting is for you. On <strong>April 8, 2026<\/strong>, from 8:00 p.m. to 9:30 p.m., you\u2019ll meet other parents, share experiences, and get helpful tips and information.  <\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">During this evening, we&#8217;ll discuss:<\/p>\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Caring for Your Eye Prosthesis<\/li>\n<li>Sports and Prevention<\/li>\n<li>the transition from elementary school to middle school<\/li>\n<li>Bullying and How to Help Your Child<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Rosan (25)<\/strong> will be speaking. She has worn an ocular prosthesis since she was four and would like to share her childhood experiences. You can submit questions for her in advance using the registration form. You can also use the form to suggest topics you\u2019d like to discuss with other parents.   <\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">It&#8217;s great when parents of both young and older children participate. That way, you can learn from each other&#8217;s experiences and get practical tips! <\/p>\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">We&#8217;re counting on you to come<\/h2>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">We\u2019ve noticed that people sometimes confuse an online peer support meeting with a webinar. This meeting is NOT a webinar that is recorded and can be watched later. This is an online peer support meeting where we\u2019ll have a conversation with one another. When you register, we assume you\u2019ll be attending. If, due to unforeseen circumstances, you\u2019re unable to attend at the last minute, please let us know by <a href=\"mailto:info@ver-ooginoog.nl\">emailing info@ver-ooginoog.nl<\/a>. That way, we won\u2019t be waiting for participants in vain.     <\/p>\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Zoom User Guide<\/h2>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">If you participate in the online session, you\u2019ll receive a helpful guide in advance. You can register for this session through April 7.
