You can participate in online Oogcontact meetings via your computer or phone. So you don’t have to go anywhere. It’s an accessible way to meet other members and get information from professionals. <\/p>\n

What are we going to do?<\/h2>\n

Many of our members have been or are currently dealing with ocular melanoma. That is why we are organizing an online meeting on November 3, starting at 8:00 p.m., specifically for this group. <\/strong><\/p>\n

Ophthalmologist Khanh Vu will speak about ongoing research, and her fellow researcher Aryana Shirzada will give a presentation on her completed study of patient preferences when choosing a treatment. <\/p>\n

Of course, there will also be time for questions and sharing experiences.<\/p>\n

We’re counting on you to come<\/h2>\n

We\u2019ve noticed that people sometimes confuse an online peer support meeting with a webinar. This meeting is NOT a webinar that is recorded and can be watched later. This is an online peer support meeting where we\u2019ll have a conversation with one another. When you register, we assume you\u2019ll be attending. If, due to unforeseen circumstances, you\u2019re unable to attend at the last minute, please let us know by emailing info@ver-ooginoog.nl<\/a>. That way, we won\u2019t be waiting for participants in vain. <\/p>\n
